RUS + ENG Course

Course Summary

• The classes are run from Monday to Saturday and make 36 academic hours per week, i.e. 18 hours of each language. Russian and English language classes are held on separate days. One day students practise Russian, the other — English.
• Students are divided into groups according to their level of the language.
• Communication, activities and best practices are the main principles the course is based on.

RUSSIAN. At the Russian classes students learn about the structure of the language and its grammar, boost up their vocabulary and practise speaking naturally.

LEARNING OUTCOMES:

Students will be able to:

• improve their accuracy
• communicate more fluently
• use strategies and techniques to develop all four skills — listening, reading, writing and speaking (including pronunciation)
• feel more confident in Russian-speaking environments and interacting with other Russian speakers.

ENGLISH. When it comes to English, students work on their language skills through watching movies and TED Talks, carrying out environmental projects, practising yoga or focusing on history, art and literature.
